What is a Geriatrician?

A Geriatrician is a physician who is specially trained to assess and manage the unique needs and preferences of older people. Geriatricians aim to promote health by preventing and treating medical problems that are more commonly found in the elderly.

MBChB -Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery

Six years must be passed in the study of medicine before you are permitted to graduate

FRACP - Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians

This is a recognition of the completion of the postgraduate specialist training program in internal adult medicine of the Royal Australian College of Physicians
